I’ve just added some images of new exhibition work! There will be more to come soon but for the moment, check out the Aviary Series which features some hot-sculpted birds and flora hot-joined into clear glass forms. Also, a series of patterned bottles I’ve been working on called “Tessuti.”

Glass Underwear
Due to popular demand, I have resolved the glass underwear into a more-streamlined, production item. Following the most recent JamFactory product review, “Briefs” will soon be available in the JamFactory shops.

New Images
I’ve updated the site with some new photography. Check out the variation on my Aerie Series that may be the beginning of an exhibition series including specific bird species. I’ve also added a bottle and cup set to the Niche Series and some more glass panties. There will be more variations on the underwear to come!
Cane Workshop
Last week, Tom Rowney visited from Canberra to teach a week-long workshop with a focus on cane tumblers. It was a bit of a break from the regular routine. Here are some amateur photos of a few of the cups that I made. I’m getting some ideas for some bigger projects using similar techniques so keep checking in for that.
Get It While It’s Hot
I just put the finishing touches on a bunch of Aerie bowls, vases and jugs and delivered them to the JamFactory Morphett street shop. Some of it will also be going to the Rundle mall shop. So come on in to check it out and take some home!
Email Failure
For anyone who as tried to email me in the past 10 days,
I am sorry to say that for some reason, the emails were forwarding to nowhere and, thus, bouncing back. I’m not exactly sure why it was happening but somewhere along the way, a wrong box got ticked. Glass Blowing: Flying Saucer at JamFactory Adelaide
So this is from last year but its an example of some of the cooler stuff that we do at the JamFactory. Each year we have a “Family Day” as part of the Adelaide Fringe Festival and I believe an additional one later in the year. The last two times, at least, we have had a drawing competition for the kids that ends with us making the winning drawings in glass. This video from last years event shows me and Maddy assisting the amazing Tom Moore in making the two winners: A flying saucer flown by a ghost owl and a six-legged creature. The kids got to watch the whole thing. It’s definitely one of my favorite things to do here. Unfortunately, there is no video for this year’s event.
New Work
Check out the recent photography I had done of the Aerie Series. Its a series that I’ve been developing since the end of last year and will be up for review by the JamFactory next week. Hopefully, that means it will be available from JamFactory outlets and others in no time.

Measuring Standards
I would like to apologize for the inconsistency of measuring standards on this site. Half of the work was made in the U.S. where I noted the size in imperial units and the other half in Australia where I used metric. When I have more time, I will either standardize the site or provide conversions throughout. Until then, I’m sorry for the inconvenience.
